In case you missed the big news, the 2008 Arconati Family Reunion is next weekend! The date is Sunday, August 10^th, 2008. The following information got to me through my dad. The organizers this year are my dad's cousins Arnie and Vince.

The event starts at noon and will end ...when it ends!

Lakeside Shelter consists of electric outlets, seasonal modern accessible restrooms, water and barbeque pits. It's right next to a small lake so bring your fishing poles! Also, there's a public swimming pool available approximately ¼ mile from the site.

Happy Birthday to my darling wife Lisa! We don't have a big event planned to celebrate her birthday this year, but she did get a few things she wanted. We were helping out at VBS tonight, so we didn't even go out for dinner. But we'll make up for it as soon as possible.

Update (2008-07-31): Lisa made a really great slide-show video of the pictures we took at church over the whole week and I wanted to be sure and share it.

I have just recently learned that there will be a Family Reunion coming up this summer. More details will be coming out and posted here as soon as I know what they are.

Nine years ago today, we spent an impatient, exhausting day at the hospital. At 8:52pm, Reese M. Arconati was born to the world. I have been proud of every single moment and achievement since then.

Greetings all!

As you may know, Lucas' birthday is this Saturday (April 26). In an effort to remember him and commemorate his birthday we are having a small gathering at the cemetery. We will be releasing balloons and would like to attach any special messages you might like to say to, about or for Lucas. I know some of you won't be able to join us but I thought you might like to send along your message as well. For those of you who will be with us that afternoon we will be meeting at the cemetery at 1:30pm and you'll be able to bring your message then. If you want to send a message please write one out and send it to either myself or to Jimmy (also include message from the cousins Micah, Abby, Lily and Isaiah if you want to). Thank you all in advance for your messages and support. Lucas will surely love them!

As of today the owner and author of this website, James A. Arconati, is 32-years-old. Many thanks to my parents and my whole family for everything.

Happy Anniversary to Lisa and Jim Arconati. They have been married legally since December of 1998. However, they celebrate their wedding on January 24^th every year since that was when their marriage was blessed at Ferguson Christian Church on January 24^th, 2004. They count this as their 9^th anniversary.

Happy 60^th Birthday!! I wanted to post a recent picture of my mom, but almost all pictures I have of her include one or more of the grandkids. Since we have a long-standing policy of not posting these in public, I had to dig back to this old photo from 1997.

Our Trip to Six Flags

It's not the best picture of any of us, but it reminds me of summer fun with my mom from those years. She's always loved Six Flags for as long as I can remember. Anyway, Happy Birthday Mom! The last one to get to the roller-coaster is buying lunch.
