Lisa and Jim Celebrate Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to Lisa and Jim Arconati. They have been married legally since December of 1998. However, they celebrate their wedding on January 24th every year since that was when their marriage was blessed at Ferguson Christian Church on January 24th, 2004. They count this as their 9th anniversary.

Happy Birthday Lois C. Arconati!

Happy 60th Birthday!! I wanted to post a recent picture of my mom, but almost all pictures I have of her include one or more of the grandkids. Since we have a long-standing policy of not posting these in public, I had to dig back to this old photo from 1997.

Six Flags
Our Trip to Six Flags

It’s not the best picture of any of us, but it reminds me of summer fun with my mom from those years. She’s always loved Six Flags for as long as I can remember. Anyway, Happy Birthday Mom! The last one to get to the roller-coaster is buying lunch.

Happy birthday, my angel, my dreamer, my starshine. I love you. You will always be our little girl.

So hold on to your teddy bear,
till the moon is out of sight,
I wish you only sweet dreams,
goodnight my dear goodnight.

“One Approach to Enterprise Security Architecture” by Nick Arconati

The SANS Institute was established in 1989 as a cooperative research and education organization. Here is one published research whitepaper in the SANS Institute Information Security Reading Room:

One Approach to Enterprise Security Architecture

Nick Arconati

This paper discusses an approach to Enterprise Security Architecture, including a security policy, security domains, trust levels, tiered networks, and most importantly the relationships among them.

The objective of enterprise security architecture is to provide the conceptual design of the network security infrastructure, related security mechanisms, and related security policies and procedures. The enterprise security architecture links the components of the security infrastructure as one cohesive unit. The goal of this cohesive unit is to protect corporate information.
