Happy Birthday to Olivia! We had a fun party at the local civic center indoor pool. The kids had a great time.
Here are some images with Olivia’s name on them from over the last year or so.
In case you missed the big news, the 2008 Arconati Family Reunion is next weekend! The date is Sunday, August 10th, 2008. The following information got to me through my dad. The organizers this year are my dad’s cousins Arnie and Vince.Suson Park – Lakeside Shelter
6059 Wells Road
St. Louis, Missouri 63128
The event starts at noon and will end …when it ends!
Lakeside Shelter consists of electric outlets, seasonal modern accessible restrooms, water and barbeque pits. It’s right next to a small lake so bring your fishing poles! Also, there’s a public swimming pool available approximately ¼ mile from the site.
Do you need directions? Here are some links:
Note: the letter that went out contained phone numbers for Arnie and Vince, but I’ve not reposted that information here purposefully for privacy reasons.
We want to wish everyone a very happy and safe Fourth of July. The United States of America is 232 years old today!
Reminder: Information will be posted soon about the upcoming family reunion and you don’t want to miss it. If you look at your calendars and pick out the hottest weekend in August, it will most likely be then! </sarcasm> See you there!
It is time to honor all fathers on this special day.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; (Psalm 103:13)
I have just recently learned that there will be a Family Reunion coming up this summer. More details will be coming out and posted here as soon as I know what they are.
Lisa just sent this email.
As you may know, Lucas’ birthday is this Saturday (April 26). In an effort to remember him and commemorate his birthday we are having a small gathering at the cemetery. We will be releasing balloons and would like to attach any special messages you might like to say to, about or for Lucas. I know some of you won’t be able to join us but I thought you might like to send along your message as well. For those of you who will be with us that afternoon we will be meeting at the cemetery at 1:30pm and you’ll be able to bring your message then. If you want to send a message please write one out and send it to either myself or to Jimmy (also include message from the cousins Micah, Abby, Lily and Isaiah if you want to). Thank you all in advance for your messages and support. Lucas will surely love them!
Love ya all
PS: Please make sure your messages can fit onto a 3X5 note card.
I’m working on what to put on my card for the balloon. I also have a lot of stuff collected from over the last few months that I want to share and I’ll add a post when it is available.
Lillian Arconati, daughter of Jonathan and Kelly Arconati, turned one-year-old today. She is getting to be such a big girl! A wonderfully funny moment came while she was eating her birthday cake slowly and daintily. Just in fun, her mother came over and pushed her hand gently all the way into the cake to really get her messy. Lillian apparently does not like her hands being covered in mush and cake icing and began to bawl –but only for a minute. It was too cute.
