From what I can tell it appears to be an interesting scientific paper on the case study of replacing a team’s owner or manager with a computer and how well the artificial intelligence might do. I see there might be lots of applications of this from a better understanding of management and leadership in general to practical applications in sports video games and other areas for artificial intelligence.

You can purchase a copy through the ACM Portal. The ACM or Association for Computing Machinery is the world’s first educational and scientific computing society.

Good news! The progeny of Lisa and Jim will increase next year when they have their third child. The due date is February 22^nd of 2007, but the baby will most likely be early.

Update (2006/07/09): The due date listed above is no longer valid. The pregnancy unfortunately resulted in a miscarriage. See Jimmy’s Blog Entry for more information. They are planning to try again as soon as physically possible.

In the Arconati Family of web sites, several of the separate blog projects have been moved into the main directory of the new Arconati Surname site hosted with Network Solutions. These include:

• ArcoJedi’s Friends Directory – previously unmentioned here, but a long-time part of the Arconati Network

The plan is to move the other sites in the reverse order of importance. We will be able to use the other domains – Mudhorny.com (done!) & ColorburstVideo.com (pending) – within the same hosting plan with minimal effort. Stay tuned!

There is a new website in the Arconati Network. Though the focus has not yet been announced, the site is hosted with Network Solutions. Some or all of the other sites in the Arconati Family will be hosted within sub-areas of this new hub.

This is not stupendous amazing or anything, but I consider it an accomplishment. We may have more news soon about moving this site to another host (from hermess.org to Network Solutions) so I will keep everyone updated.
